shopVOX is worked out as the listed base plus the listed per-user fee for everyone. SignShop Profit is its Solo plan for 1 person, Shop for up to 5, and Multi-location for more. It also has a free plan: 1 user and 3 saved quotes a month after a 14 day trial. SignQuote has 3 free quotes, then $49.
Which one fits
A spreadsheet is fine if you're the only one quoting and you keep it up to date. It's free and it's yours. The trouble starts with a second person: which copy is current, whether the formulas still work, and nothing tells you which quotes have gone quiet.
SignShop Profit comes from the people behind the Signs101 forum. It covers quoting, customer approval, artwork proofs, a production queue and profit reports. If you work alone, it's cheaper than SignQuote, and it does more if you want proofing and scheduling in the same place.
shopVOX is a full shop management system: quoting through production, invoicing and more (more on when it's the better pick). If you want one system to run the whole shop, and you'll put in the time to set it up, it's built for that. Per-user fees add up as you grow.
SignQuote only does quoting and chasing the answer. It has no job boards, proofing or invoicing, on purpose. It fits a shop with a few people who all need to quote the same way, that already has a way to run jobs, and doesn't want a per-person bill or a setup project. It's early and it's made by one person, which is both why I'll load your prices myself and a real thing to weigh.
